Scotia Auto Glass:Ron Tibert "Onsite repairs"

History: Ron Tibert Sr.

Ron Tibert, Scotia Glass's owner has been in the business since 1973.  G-Lebeau based in Halifax, was the first company that got him started.  Soon later, the company was purchased by Standard Auto Glass.  A focused hard working individual, managed to become manager of the Halifax location and eventually regional manager of Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick and Newfoundland.  Under his creative leadership, a legacy company was thriving.  The 1980's were fast paced and Ron was able to show record profits for the company and provide quality service to the real people, his customers.  Ron is a "Company man" but the success came at a price, family.  Of course that comes with these positions that give maybe one weekend a month home, he felt a change was needed.  The only way was "up" in the company, a promotion to Toronto was a choice, but not a good family choice.  He regretfully resigned.....  Standard Auto Glass has been since purchased by the global giant, Belron International (Owns Apple Auto Glass, Speedy Auto Glass and Standard Auto Glass), then eventually closed all stores except a few franchised locations.

Almost every person in the glass industry in Atlantic Canada today has worked along side Ron at one time or another over the years.  Ron is also the creator of the company Alpine Auto Glass developed in 1989, which had expanded throughout central Nova Scotia.  A franchise business that still continues today.

Current:

Scotia Auto Glass currently services the greater HRM areas and the South Shore areas, that include Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, Tantallon, Porters lake, Bridgewater and Lunenburg.  With access to the largest warehouses in Canada we can always get your parts you need.

Ron is fully trained and can train auto glass technicians and has courses in ICAR and extensive windshield repair training techniques.  Ron's enjoyment of the auto glass trade has lead him to create the company Scotia Auto glass in 1999.  Ron still has much to offer the auto glass industry and hopes to continue servicing satisfied motorists for years to come in the Maritimes.
